Dell Technologies
Circular Economy
How do you inspire hope in a world overwhelmed by waste?
Every year, more than 53 million tons of electronic waste are created, yet less than one-fifth is properly recycled. As a leader in technology, Dell Technologies knew it had both a responsibility and an opportunity to rethink how products are made, used, and reused. The goal was simple but ambitious: design technology for a future where nothing goes to waste.
Dell came to us to create a flagship film that would anchor their new Circular Economy hub – a place to share their vision for sustainable innovation. But rather than another warning about environmental collapse, we saw a chance to tell a different kind of story: one rooted in optimism, creativity, and progress.
The film celebrates the beauty of transformation. It moves through the lifecycle of Dell products – from reclaimed materials to renewed technology – showing how what was once discarded can be reborn into something new. Every frame is designed to feel alive and forward-moving, underscoring the idea that circular design isn’t about limits, but about endless possibility.

Visually, the piece contrasts nature and technology, blending organic textures with sleek modern design. The tone is bright, confident, and human – reflecting Dell’s belief that innovation and sustainability go hand in hand.
Produced end to end at VML Copenhagen, the project was brought to life entirely in-house – from initial storyboards and concept development, through the shoot, edit, and final delivery. Every stage of production was handled with a focus on craft, collaboration, and purpose, mirroring the very principles of circularity the film celebrates.
Circular Economy became more than a sustainability message. It was a statement about the power of design to shape a better future – one where progress doesn’t come at the planet’s expense. The film launched globally as the centerpiece of Dell’s environmental storytelling, helping redefine the brand as a leader not just in technology, but in responsible innovation.
In a world that’s constantly creating more, Dell offered a different perspective:
The future isn’t disposable. It’s circular.
